The Saddest Christmas YouTube Video Ever

I will be the first to admit that on occasion I find bratty kid behavior hilarious. Sometimes there is absolutely nothing cuter then a disgruntled little person. It’s just really cute to see toddlers throw temper tantrums—as long as they’re not my own kids.

However, this little kid is too much. After opening some pretty kick-ass Christmas presents, including a Wii, he loses it completely to …

… find that someone had the gall to buy him BOOKS—for Christmas! He is viscerally not impressed and freaks out about it while his parents snicker in the background.

I am huge Christmas fan. Despite working retail for years and being surrounded by angry shoppers, I still adore the holiday season. I love it! Quite frankly it’s my favorite time of the year. So this little kids grumpy mcgrump attitude kills me. Worst of all is the odd reaction his parents have over the idea that he is angry about receiving books. I find it so bizarre that his parents see it as perfectly acceptable, and even adorable, that he is behaving like a little tool. Seriously, WTF? I kept waiting for some to scold him or at the very least mention how rude he was behaving but instead they let him open another gift, promising that it is not a book.

On top of all that, I am left wondering what kind of world we live in where a three-year-old freaks out over the idea of receiving super-cool story books. Isn’t it a little heartbreaking that a kid would say books aren’t toys? Sad, right? I’d say this kid is very much so deserving of some good old fashioned coal for Christmas next year.
